We finished building the greenhouse in the back yard behind the vegetable garden. It came out very well. Finished, it is 31 feet long and 13 feet deep. It is half buried and burmed in back - the north side. Inside it is a bit more than six and a half feet high in the back, sloping to about five feet nine inches under the beams in front, a twelve degree slope - almost not steep enough because water pools up behind the rubber ridges that hold down the plastic panes. We'll see how that goes.
The slideshow of the construction from the time the hole was dug until the greenhouse was sealed starts below. You may wait about ten seconds between photos or, if that's too long, simply click on each photo to advance to the next. Start by clicking on this first photo of the hole being dug.
but it was too much. This little back hoe dug the entire hole in one day. |
